Fitness at home
These are dark times for gym rats across the globe. Because of the coronavirus pandemic, gyms worldwide have shut down. For most of us, this is more than just a hobby. If you are someone who never misses more than a few days at a time, things are looking bad. Regardless if this is you or If you are someone just getting into the gym, you have to ask yourself how bad you want to progress..
What it all comes down to is how bad you want this. During these times it is most important that you are still training, still dieting and still being proactive towards your goals. We do not know how long this will go on, so it is very important that you stay on top of your fitness and do what you can with what you have!
Now that we are all off school, work and normal every duties, you may be sitting on your couch and spending hours in front of your laptop at a time. Binge watching movies may sound great right about now, but there is always the option to go on a walk to get the blood flowing. Going on a walk, run or bike ride is a great way to get the cardio in if you do not have a cardio machine at home!
Something most people do not have at home is weights and/or equipment, here is a list of exercises you can do with little to no equipment:
Upper body:
Pushups
Pullups
Tricep dips
Triangle pushups
Incline pushup
Rack Chin
Leg workout:
Bulgarian split squat
Hip thrusts
Nordic hamstring curl
Wall sits
Bodyweight squats
Core:
Sit ups
Crunches
Reverse crunch
Hanging leg raises
There are ways to alter all of these exercises in order to make them easier or harder based on your level of fitness. There is also tons of free content on the internet for those with some equipment at home! Working hard towards your fitness goals is always an option! Stay swole everyone!
